Welcome to Smartly Calculators. These Terms of Service (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of the Smartly Calculators website at smartlycalculators.com and all calculators, content, and services offered through it (collectively, the “Service“). Smartly Calculators is provided free of charge. There is no registration, no payment, no premium tier, and no account to create. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future, but the core calculators will remain free.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise extract content from the Service in bulk using automated tools without our prior written consent. (Search engines like Google and Bing crawling our public pages is permitted.)

5. Calculator Results and Accuracy

Our calculators are built using widely accepted formulas and are reviewed for accuracy. However, results are estimates for informational and educational purposes only. They are not professional financial, medical, legal, tax, engineering, or religious advice.

You agree to:

• Verify any result that materially affects your finances, health, or legal position with an appropriately licensed professional.
• Not rely solely on calculator output for decisions involving real money, medical treatment, legal compliance, or religious obligations.

What You May Do

• Quote or excerpt small portions of our articles for educational or journalistic use, with proper attribution and a link back to the original page.
• Embed our calculators on your own site after submitting an embed request and receiving approval (see embed terms below).

What You May Not Do

• Republish our articles, FAQs, or formulas in whole or substantial part without prior written permission.
• Remove copyright notices, attributions, or “Powered by Smartly Calculators” credits from embedded calculators.
• Use our trademarks (including “Smartly Calculators”) in a manner that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without our written consent.

7. Embed License

We offer a free, manually approved embed program. After submitting an embed request, our team reviews your site for content quality and relevance. If approved, we issue you an iframe code under the following terms:

• The “Powered by Smartly Calculators” link must remain visible.
• You may not modify the iframe HTML to remove our branding or change calculation logic.
• You may not embed our calculators on sites that promote illegal activities, hate speech, or sexually explicit content.
• We may revoke embed permission at any time at our sole discretion.

8. User Submissions

When you submit content to us through any form (contact, calculator request, embed request, etc.), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that submission to respond to you, improve the Service, and — for calculator suggestions specifically — build the requested calculator if we choose to. We do not claim ownership of your submission, and we will not publicly attribute it to you without your permission.

9. Third-Party Links and Content

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (Wikipedia, government sources, academic papers, market data providers, etc.). We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

10. Service Availability and Changes

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but make no guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We may temporarily suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SMARTLYCALCULATORS, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Smartly Calculators and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party right.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Smartly Calculators is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively by the courts of that jurisdiction.
