Health, fitness & medical calculators

Calculators dealing with body measurements (BMI, body-fat, ideal weight), nutrition (calories, macros, protein), pregnancy (due date, ovulation), heart rate, dosage, or other health metrics provide population-level estimates only. They are not a medical diagnosis, treatment plan, or medical device.

• BMI and body-fat estimates do not account for muscle mass, body composition, age, ethnicity or pregnancy.
• Calorie and macronutrient targets are estimates and vary by activity level, metabolism and medical conditions.
• Pregnancy and ovulation calculators are estimates only; cycle length, hormones and individual factors affect actual dates.
• Drug dosage tools are educational reference points and must not be used to administer medication.

Legal & tax calculators

Tax brackets, payroll deductions, capital-gains, statutory holiday or notice-period calculators are based on publicly available rules at the time of writing. Tax law and labour law change, often retroactively, and vary by country, state, city and individual circumstances. Treat results as a rough estimate, never as a filing position. Engineering, construction & physics calculators

Calculators involving load, stress, electrical sizing, fluid flow, structural elements, dosing, mixing, or any other engineering or construction quantity are educational tools and reference checks. They are not a substitute for design by a licensed engineer, code-compliant drawings, or a qualified inspector. Do not use a calculator on this site as the sole basis for a real-world build, installation, modification or safety decision.

Religious calculators (Zakat, Hijri, prayer-related)

Calculators relating to Zakat, Nisab, inheritance, prayer times, fasting or other religious observances are based on commonly accepted scholarly opinions. Rules differ between schools of thought (madhabs), regions and individual scholars. We are not a religious authority and do not issue rulings (fatwas). For binding religious guidance, consult a qualified scholar in your tradition.

Conversion & math calculators

Unit conversion, math and statistics calculators are simpler in nature, but rounding, edge cases, and definition mismatches (US vs. UK gallons, short vs. long ton, etc.) can still produce surprises. Always sanity-check the unit of the result against the unit you expected.

Accuracy & completeness

We test our calculators against known examples and update them when we discover issues. Even so, calculators may contain bugs, incorrect rounding, outdated tax tables, or formulas that don’t match every jurisdiction. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. If you spot an error, please contact us — we’ll fix it.
